CoreShift Operations

How CoreShift Operations works

A hands-on operations manager steps into the day-to-day so you don’t have to manage every moving part yourself.

Questions & answers

What exactly does CoreShift do?
CoreShift takes over the day-to-day operational coordination of your business. Depending on your operation, that can include schedules and assignments, staff and crew coordination, job changes, call-outs, vendor coordination, follow-ups, problem-solving, and making sure the moving parts of the day stay on track. We handle the ongoing operational workload that would otherwise keep landing on the owner’s desk.
What types of businesses does CoreShift work with?
CoreShift is built for small businesses that have a lot of daily moving parts but may not need or want a full-time operations manager. This can include cleaning companies, moving companies, catering and event operations, staffing businesses, and other service businesses that need someone consistently coordinating jobs, people, schedules, vendors, and daily issues.
Does CoreShift provide on-site management?
CoreShift is not an on-site management service and does not replace a manager who needs to be physically present at your location or job site every day. Most of our work is handled remotely. There may be times when an in-person visit makes sense, but regular on-site management is not part of the standard service.
How does CoreShift work with my business day to day?
We first learn how your business operates, what needs to be managed, and which responsibilities you want taken off your plate. From there, CoreShift becomes a hands-on point of coordination for those daily operations — following up, communicating, handling changes, keeping schedules and assignments organized, and addressing routine issues as they come up. You continue making the major business decisions; we handle the day-to-day execution and follow-through.
Where does CoreShift work, and how involved do you get?
CoreShift currently serves businesses throughout New York. We become directly involved in the day-to-day operation of your business — communicating with staff, coordinating schedules and assignments, handling changes, following up on open items, and dealing with issues as they happen. Most of that management is handled by phone, text, email, and your operating systems, but the service is hands-on and active — not passive remote oversight. When needed, we can also come on-site for specific situations, meetings, or operational needs.
